- 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
- 12 oz egg noodles
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
-
Prepare the Crockpot:
- Place the beef tips in the crockpot.
- Add the onion soup mix, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, chopped onion (if using), garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
-
Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
-
Thicken the Sauce (Optional):
- If you want a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry.
- Stir the slurry into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Let it cook until the sauce thickens.
-
Cook the Noodles:
- About 15 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
-
Combine and Serve:
- Serve the beef tips and gravy over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- For extra flavor, sear the beef in a hot skillet with a bit of oil before adding it to the crockpot.
- Add mushrooms or carrots for more vegetables.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Enjoy your comforting and hearty meal! 😊
